Technology Provenance

Six years. Four deployments. Bank of England to open standard.

"A protocol with a production history longer than most of the regulatory frameworks now being written to govern it."

2019Foundation

L3COS

The predecessor platform, built by Zurab Ashvil. Presented at the World Economic Forum, Davos 2020. Engaged in direct evaluation by central banks and sovereign wealth funds across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

June 2020Institutional

Bank of England CBDC Sandbox

A fully operational CBDC prototype delivered inside the Bank of England's CBDC sandbox. The deployment demonstrated that central bank governance authority — emergency freeze, balance seizure, force redemption — can be enforced at the protocol layer without off-chain intervention. The most rigorous independent institutional validation of the architecture.

2026Governance

L3RS Foundation Established

Following publication of L3RS-1 v1.0.0, the L3RS Foundation was formally established as the governing body for the standard. The Foundation operates a Board of Governors, a Technical Steering Committee, and four working groups covering compliance, identity, governance mechanisms, and interoperability. The standard is open and royalty-free.

OngoingRegulatory

NBG Evaluation

The National Bank of Georgia is proceeding through the L3RS Foundation's institutional ratification pathway — a formal process requiring conformance audit, Legal Mirror validation, and governance authority registration.

Live Platform

T3RRA — The Production Implementation

L3RS-1 is the production standard deployed by T3RRA Ltd, the global CRE tokenisation platform through which Aurum sources its vault instruments. T3RRA tokenises commercial real estate across multiple geographies and regulatory environments — its compliance architecture is what ensures that instruments offered through Aurum carry regulatory verifiability across all relevant jurisdictions.

Aurum clients access T3RRA-grade institutional infrastructure through a private wealth management relationship, without exposure to T3RRA's broader retail or institutional channels.
